(Some of) What we did this week…
- Supported our groups in Birmingham, Cardiff, Derby and Liverpool towards their meals this Sunday - Birmingham are teaming up with Birmingham Museums this month to explore the history and culture of Birmingham's food scene (funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund) 🍛
- Invited the Local Welcome community to attend the King Charles III Charitable Fund event in London to celebrate the coronation food project (thank you to the leaders who have supported us with this!)
- We’ve drafted our campaigns toolkit, as funded by Ben & Jerry’s Foundation Fund 🧰
We’ve added more recipes to the Recipe Catalogue!
We have been revisiting old Local Welcome recipes, and have added them to the Recipe Catalogue in the Handbook!

Now that leaders are welcome to bring their own ingredients to meals, and they have the opportunity to develop their own recipes, we’ve updated our allergen tables to make allergens at meals more clear.
We’ve added two delicious recipes to the Recipe Catalogue which have been submitted and developed by the Local Welcome Birmingham group. We encourage you to check them out 👀
