(Some of) What we did this week…
- Supported our groups in Birmingham, Cardiff, Derby, Liverpool and Norwich in preparing for their final meals of the year this Sunday 🍲
- Developed a first draft of a new page on our website which will frame our Leader Handbook to new groups launching in 2025 🧑💻
- Gathered together as a team on Tuesday in Birmingham for our first in-person trustee meeting for a very long time. Our incredible board of Trustees are based across the UK, so managing to get all of us (but one 😢) in one room felt like an achievement in itself!
- Celia and Hannah attended UKCharityCamp’s Unconference in Birmingham on Thursday to learn, listen and exchange ideas with other charity teams who also use digital tools to support the way they operate, improve and deliver their services 🤝

A couple of reminders before the weekend…
Calling the on-call team member - We’d like to remind you that Whatsapp calls to the on-call phone won’t reach us! This is because we use the browser-based version of WhatsApp whilst on-call, which doesn’t support Whatsapp calls. If you need to call us, please phone the on-call phone directly - we use software which redirects your call to the on-call team member who will be there to help.
Accepting food brought to meals - We've been enjoying hearing about all the festive touches planned for your December meals! To help you feel confident and equipped to keep meals safe and inclusive, here’s a link to our safety guidance re: bringing additional food items to meals (and accepting anything brought by a member):
