Some of you will remember that we had funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund a few years ago. This project was focused on our Midlands and East of England groups, and involved the production and screening of long and short films, the recording and archiving of oral histories, and some local history, art and music workshops during meals.
Since we completed this project, we have received requests and supported the running of many more cultural activities and workshops at meals - Cardiff’s zine-making, Belfast’s drumming & Norwich’s wreath-making to name a few!
This got us thinking…what other ideas, connections and appetite might our groups have for heritage activities they’d like to run at their meals? Therefore, our fundraiser Rhiannon will be in touch next week via email to ask you about your group’s capacity and ideas for any heritage activities so she can include these in our application!
