We’ve extended the deadline for our annual leader impact survey to next Monday at 9am to allow more time for responses!

We know (and really appreciate) how much time you already give to support in leading your local meals. By giving just 10 mins more to fill out this survey you'll be helping helping us measure, celebrate & talk about the impact your meals have - some insights of which would otherwise go unnoticed. There’s so much that happens at your meals we don’t otherwise get the opportunity to hear about!

Hi everyone,

We’re excited to invite you to our event - Grow the Welcome: Celebrating 10 Years, Imagining the Future! 🎉

🗓️ Date: Saturday 19th September

📍 Location: The Priory Rooms Meeting and Conference Centre (Quaker Meeting House, 40 Bull St, Birmingham B4 6AF)

⏱️ Time: 10:30am-3:30pm

We’d love to bring together volunteers, members and partners from across the UK to celebrate this milestone. Please note: We can cover the costs of your travel to and from the event.

What to expect

A celebratory day that will bring our national community together to celebrate 10 years of Local Welcome, share our future plans and spend time together in person.

🌟 A session with reflections, future plans and an inspiring pitch from our team and trustees

🍽 A meal that will be prepared by all of us as one big group - in true Local Welcome style

💬 An interactive ‘unconference’ session where everyone in the room has a say on the agenda led by our trustee and Cardiff leader, Clare Price, exploring ideas and challenges together for the 10 years ahead

We’re still finalising the details, but we hope this gives you a flavour of the day and something to look forward to!

Register your interest

As we have limited capacity, we want the process to allocate places to be as fair and transparent as possible.

• We are offering two places per group to begin with. This might increase depending on uptake across other groups
• This is not first-come, first-served
• If a group is oversubscribed, places might be re-allocated
• We will aim to ensure leader representation from each of our 10 groups - we want to see as many of our groups as possible on the day!

We’ll confirm places shortly after the deadline once we’ve received everyone’s submissions.

Local Welcome wouldn’t be what it is without our incredible networks of leaders, and we can’t wait to celebrate this very special day with you!
