(Some of) What we did this week…

We’re changing the way we share the Leader Handbook

The Leader Handbook is stored in Notion but currently published to the web, so anyone with the link can view it online.

We’ve reviewed this recently and have decided to make the handbook accessible to our leaders only from now on, by sharing it privately via Notion. This is to ensure all the work we’ve put into it is kept as private and protected as possible.

We’ll soon share the leader handbook via the email addresses we’ve previously invited you to access your group’s Leader Portals with, so please keep an eye out for an email from Notion confirming you’ve been granted access in the next week or so.

If you have any questions about accessing Notion, please reach out to us via whatsapp or [email protected]

Meal safety update

Last month, as riots were occurring across the UK, we reached out via Whatsapp to let you know that we were taking a few extra precautions to ensure our meals remain as safe as possible.

One of the measures we took was to take down all the Facebook events we’d set up and paid to ‘boost’ to reach a wider audience.

We’ve reviewed this decision again as a team this week, and feel it’s now safe enough for us to start ‘boosting’ Facebook events again.

As always, we’ll continue to be cautious in only sharing the addresses of our meals with those who need them. Please also remain mindful of the information you’re sharing, and who you’re sharing it with when distributing posters and promoting meals around your own networks.

Thank you for all the hard work you do to help keep Local Welcome meals safe and running 💜
