We couldn’t publish our usual weeknotes without firstly making space to react to the passing of the Rwanda Bill this week.
On behalf of the Local Welcome community, we express our outrage and horror over the plans the government is setting out with the passing of this Bill - breaking international law, attacking human rights, and placing innocent people at risk of harm, and even worse.
We send our solidarity to the front-line organisations we’re partnered with in towns and cities across the UK.
We hope that our meals in the coming weeks are a space of warmth, safety and solidarity for everyone in our community who is at threat from this Bill.
As always, our inboxes are open to all of you, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like any support or guidance in the coming weeks.

There will be more details to follow! 🎞️
