Things that made us smile this week

• We’ve been getting the ball rolling on launch some new groups in the coming months! It’s always exciting to get started in a new location 😍
• Seeing Humam and Niki get started on their first pieces of work, and already making valuable contributions to our small team!
• Our Derby leaders shared this local news article - an incredible story which involves some guests who attend Local Welcome meals

What we’re focusing on next week

• Debriefing the meals this Sunday
• Andrew will be finishing off his work on the annual accounts
• Celia will be moving work forward on launching new groups
• Niki will continue to learn more (and map out) the way we operate
• Humam will continue to learn the ropes for his new role
• Rhiannon will be working on funding applications
• Vic will be getting ready for meals on 3 September, and supporting groups in getting future meal dates booked in
• Ben will be on holiday
