(Some of) What we did this week…

• Celia and Hannah enjoyed a (rare) day in-person attending Migrant Help’s Building Bridges conference, and made new connections with lots of amazing people working in refugee-focused organisations across the UK! 🤝
• Celia and Andrew reviewed the progress Local Welcome has made between April and June, and set out strategic objectives for our next quarter 🌱
• We supported our groups towards this weekend, where we’ll have a record amount of meals (for 2024) running in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Derby and Liverpool 🍲
• We celebrated 206 hours of social contact generated by June meals - a huge thank you for all your amazing work as leaders in helping make this magic happen 🎉

(Some of) What we’re doing next week…

• Supporting Leicester and Norwich towards their 21 July meals 🥗
• Promoting confirmed August meal dates 📢
• Working on reducing our monthly technical running costs ⚙️
• Reviewing applications for our Chair of Trustees and Trustee role and inviting people for interviews. The deadline is Monday 8 July at 9am, so there’s still time to apply: https://www.localwelcome.org/work-for-us
