A brief instalment after a busy week!

(Some of) what we’ve been focusing on this week…

• Preparing for our meals in Newham and Norwich on the weekend of the 2nd March 🎉 Azad has been promoting the meals on social media, and we’ve been connecting with recent sign-ups to promote the meals
• Working towards first meals in Belfast, Birmingham and Leicester 🍲
• Setting up DBS applications and Soldo cars for our newer groups, so they could choose recipes and purchase ingredients for their meals 🛍️
• Scheduling a remote meet-up with our Birmingham and Leicester leaders to discuss the handbook, venues and the next steps to launch their first meal
• We’ve gathered feedback from the first version of our handbook and making changes to reflect your suggestions 💜

(Some of) what we’re focusing on next week…

• Inviting residents of the refugee accommodation close our venue in Newham to our meal in March
• Scheduling a remote meet-up with our Belfast group to discuss the handbook and next steps for their group 🚀
• Publishing an editable version of the leader handbook, so that leaders can start to fill out the relevant sections 📖
• Continuing work on our Supporter campaign with Nice and Serious (a creative agency providing us with pro-bono support) 🧑‍💻
