Things that made us smile this week

• Hearing about another weekend of successful meals 😍
• Having our first Monday morning Operations and Meal Debrief meetings with Humam
• Seeing some of Niki’s first thoughts and observations after working her way through our user research - and the feedback our leaders, members and guests have shared with us - over the years.
• Remembering how well we support each other as a team at Local Welcome! I (Celia) was off sick/not working at my best capacity for most of the week, and felt so, so supported throughout. Special shout out to Andrew for taking on my work that needed to continue moving forward whilst I was away 🙏

(Some of) what we’re focusing on next week

• Ben will be getting back into the swing of things as he returns from his holiday
• Andrew will be helping Ben settle back in, and leading on some monitoring and evaluation work
• Celia will being helping Ben settle back in, and continuing to move work forward on launching new groups
• Niki will be running a team workshop (we can’t wait to attend it!)
• Humam will be on holiday
• Rhiannon will be working on funding applications
• Vic will be getting ready for meals on 3 September
