(Some of) What we did this week…
- Debriefed five fantastic meals in Cardiff, Derby, Liverpool, Leicester and Birmingham 📝
- We started our search for Oral History interview participants in Norwich, Leicester and Birmingham as part of our National Lottery Heritage Fund project. We’re looking for 3 people in each of these cities who are up for sharing their food memories during a remote, recorded interview between 12-25 September! The recording will last about 20-30 minutes, and the overall time commitment will be 45 mins. If you (or anyone you know who lives in one of those cities) might be interested, please get in touch and we’ll share some more details! 🎙️
- Andrew worked on some final annual report revisions 📖
- Rhiannon started researching for, and working on, some new funding applications 💰
📢 Spaces still available - Trauma Informed Training for Leaders!
We’re offering free (optional) online trauma informed training sessions facilitated by the wonderful team at YMCA Leicestershire (sponsored by The National Lottery Heritage Fund).
There are still spaces available on:
- Wed 25 September - 5:30pm
- Wed 2 October - 5:30pm
Book yourself a spot at one of these sessions here: https://calendly.com/localwelcome/local-welcome-trauma-informed-training-for-leaders
