Headlines
- Physical cards will take up to 7-10 working days to arrive in the post.
- Digital cards arrive immediately.
- Part of your onboarding will involve a liveness check:
- Valid photo ID photo capture (driver's license/passport/etc.)
- Proof of residence document photo capture (gas, water or electricity bill/TV or telephone bill/copy of personal bank statement)
- For safety and data protection reasons, we advise you not to pass the cards between yourselves.
- If you think your card is lost or stolen please report this to Local Welcome immediately so we can cancel it.
Setting up your ‘Physical’ Soldo Card
- Find your Soldo invitation email - the subject should be ‘You’ve been invited to use Soldo’.
- Read the email before proceeding, and follow the instructions to log into your new account using the credentials Soldo has shared in the email.
- Once you’ve followed Soldo’s instructions, a physical card will be on its way in the post to you
You can also access a digital version of your card by downloading the Soldo App (see instructions below).
The app is also useful for checking your balance (checking your physical card’s balance via an ATM costs 50p each time!).

Please only set up your Soldo Card digitally if your phone is locked via ‘fingerprint’ or ‘facial recognition’. If this isn’t possible, please contact us.
